Not ready for prime time

Gps doesn't work, search is awful, text in the "book" does not link to the map or provide any pictures, map is not interactive, hard to read, cluttered with options to filter

Maps are too slow to use

Worthless

Must-have in Paris

by musique23 · August 4, 2011

This app is totally worth the six bucks! It was a guidebook in my hand so I never had to look like a tourist, I looked like I was just checking my phone. The geolocating worked without any internet or phone service, which was a godsend. I never got lost, though the positioning was a little off by a block or two sometimes. All the information is up to date, though some of the details about museums and such were abbreviated and hard to understand. But overall, this is a definite must for anyone traveling to Paris.

Not convenient to use

Lack of info too.

ehhh...

So, the app is itself is ok as it can be used offline but not a big fan of the lack of a search feature. This would be very helpful otherwise it doesn't really let you in interact in a way that you can discover anything in Paris. You have to know the exact item you are looking for.

Not for iPad

It is so frustrating to pay for an app that says it is for iPad but it is formatted for the smaller iPhone screen.

Maps are Stunningly Slow

Content and Presentation = 4/5 stars. Maps are awkward and take forever to load = 1 stars. Please fix the maps so we can all enjoy your great content more fully.

Terrible

by Sus333 · November 25, 2010

I've been using lonely planets for years and am very loyal to them, but this app is terrible. Very unusable and has done of the connivence and ease that the books have. It us difficult to find information on restaurant or museums. Do not buy.
