Used to be something else before this but it was discontinued and upgraded to this app. The new app I don’t recommend unless you like paying annual subscription which other apps do for one time purchase fee like this app. <br/>I highly recommend people use this app.
It turns out that it was “pilot error” as I missed clearing an entry. I will say that I heard back very quickly and was asked to submit more info. Kinda glad I found my error, which would have been embarrassing if they had to point it out. 🤷🏼<br/><br/>My only nitpick is the cleared balance doesn’t always update quickly and match the balance shown in the ledger. I’ve been using their original version (Checkbook HD) which frankly I like better, but this month recurring items didn’t update so I reluctantly switched to this. If the cleared balance issue rights itself, I will happily upgrade the review to 5 stars.
This was great for many years. Used it for many years. All a sudden something happened and all my auto transactions from years ago started double posting automatically throwing off all my balances. And it’s painstaking to go back years and delete every duplicate transaction. Not talking about one or two transactions, all my car payments from 2021-2024 started posting duplicates for those years, saying “auto-generated” and messed it all up. So I’m going to find any other app that works for me now even if I have to pay. This app was great for years until this happened. Disappointed.
This app has everything all in one! I can balance my checkbook, check my budget and spending! Has great filters for transactions. I recommend this app to all!
Very complete they just don’t have access to connect investment accounts and please add the ability to put widged on the clock That is to say Complications and widged for all devices
I downloaded the new version and could not get used to using it so I went back to the old version. The older version is much easier to read at a glance what’s going on in your account. I don’t use the app to. It’s full of extent, so maybe that’s where the benefits are but aesthetically. The older version is much better.
