8 of 15I purchased a lot of stickers and themes over the past several years, but it’s all lost now. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone, and now I can’t log in with my phone number (apparently this is not supported in the US anymore) and I have to log in with Apple or Google. Well guess what? I didn’t make my account with Apple or Google. I used my phone number to make my account years ago, and now I can’t log in? And not even a warning????
I wanted to add someone by scanning their LINE QR code. After granting Camera permission, LINE still refused to open the camera until I also granted Photos access.<br/>Camera permission should be sufficient for live QR scanning. Photos permission should only be requested if I choose to scan a QR code from an image in my photo library.<br/>This creates unnecessary friction for privacy-conscious users and blocks a common task unless we grant an unrelated permission. Please allow QR code scanning with Camera permission only.
Line makes it very difficult to log in and the verification process is ridiculously unacceptable. They change the way how you can login and logout . I changed my new phone and can’t login via Apple ID because they only send the verification code through your Line account which you can’t see them unless you logged in. How stupid is that? I have used Line more than 10 years . I lost my first account that have all my old friends contacts and lost my second account just because I changed my phone number and now is the third time that I am losing another account. Why can’t you just go back to the way it used to be where we can use user name and password. Send verification code through email or phone number. That’s all your customer needs.
Same as all other one star reviews. Somehow my account is banned, cannot log in. Seems completely random. Just wanted the app to communicate with family in Taiwan.
Due to the change of discontinuation of numbers for global besides Asia, Japan, etc. I lost all of my chats, stickers, and friends once I got a new device. Whatever you do, make sure to keep your last device so you can transfer safely.
Been use this apps for long time, now in US can’t use phone number or to gmail account link , no longer getting in Line all off now , is that Line is end ? No support response. What the apps.
Horrible how you aren’t able to log in using ur phone number anymore. I spent money on themes and stickers tried contacting line using their help services and only been getting automatic bot responses with no solution whatsoever
Stupid app only designed for Asian countries now. It used to be easy to log in with my phone number but they’ve changed it to where you can only use your Apple ID to log in. Which when I signed up 10 years ago I used my Google account not Apple ID. Because the emails are the same it thinks I already have an account and won’t let me in
