8 of 15It’s a good game. My only complaint is the graphics are too small for certain features and the AI actions are way too fast for me to figure out what’s happening. I prefer the card version, San Juan.
I have this as a board game, and built a custom organizer to make it trivial to set up... but my kids aren’t at home any more, so I have nobody to play it with. This lets me keep playing, and with relatively little time commitment.
Well produced app version of a classic board game! The symbols and plantation iconography took some getting use to but once you understand how they mean it’s pretty straight forward. I was upset this app didn’t support the craftsman angst variant for 2 players through, which is essential for 2 player games imo. Still a fun app!
Fun game, affordable, but will occasionally freeze when playing friends.

It’s a great app and true to the board game.
I have had this game for less than a week, but it has already brought me hours of enjoyment. I haven’t tried playing online yet because I am trying to master the nuances of the game and the A.I.s are very challenging. The tutorial is great, and it is very easy to reference buildings and goods in the almanac if you don’t remember which each one provides.
Just the right balance to the game, and each game allows for varied strategies.
