Latest update installed. I asked the app to route from Houston to Minneapolis. Calculate. Calculate! Fail!!!! Yes, I closed the app and restarted the phone. Tried again. Fail!!!! App says install street pilot onboard. Where is it? I’m guessing that Garmin priced the apps too high for mass sales. So only a few people need off grid navigation. Few customers, not enough money, no support.
Why did garmin de-support this app(garmin U.S.A.) and not offer refunds to its paying customers? They let you download but, you can’t get the maps, I was unaware until I upgraded my phone!
It’s possible to make this app work only by jumping through hoops. Why is it difficult to impossible to do simple searches that google maps does in seconds? If someone could write an app featuring the better aspects of each app it would corner the market.
Probably the only two things that can make this app better is if 1:they make an iPad version and 2: they make a new version of the app where I could book flights and rooms an’ such.
Do not waste your money!!! Part of the required files do not load making it worthless. This is the last straw for me when comes to Garmin products and their inept customer support. I am done. I will be working to get my money back!!!
Will need add more vehicle icons and appdate more frequently
Paid for and tried to download the Garmin USA app. Will not completely download. Required maps will not load. Please work out the bugs. This is a pricey app for it to not work.
