Great app but...

by Jupey · April 15, 2011

When this app works, it's fantastic. However, throughout the entire Malaysian F1, it came up with a message saying "server unreachable" and would revert to a demo. Internet connectivity was not a problem at the race as there was a very strong 3G signal. Soft Pauer needs to either increase their server capacity or start issuing refunds to those of us who spent $33 to watch a demo.

Way to expensive for what it is.

Should only be $9.99 at the very most. No way worth $25.

The app is ok, but some of the other Formula 1 apps for .99 cents have much more up to date news.

Shameful piece of software

This years app is just a shame.
When spending 32$ you expect a seamless experience. Well... Try to get the live feed of the Malaysian GP!! You find only a old demo. Rebooting your device, switching from practice to qualifying and race, from one GP to the other.... nothing helps. You see only demo....
I can't believe something like that exists...
And IT IS NOT a connection issue. All other online apps work perfectly.

I just hope there will be the decency to refund...

You know the cliche'

Classic example of go big or go home. This is the must have app for the hardcore Formula One fan. The app is actually faster than live broadcasts on television, shows every single piece of information you could possibly want, and gives you individualized progress on your favorite driver.

As your time with the app goes on you will be able to assess the race in ways the commentators can't do even on live broadcasts. I have been able to accurately assess cars that are in mechanical trouble and crashes with the app before the commentators!

It's expensive, but if you buy it at the start of the season it's just over a dollar a race. I never watch a race without it, let alone qualifying!

Best F1 application!

Just the best F1 information available! Can't wait to follow the new season with it! Thanks!

Needs work

by izikugal · May 20, 2011

Last years app set the map back to last full view after following a specific car. This years app brings the map to the centre instead of your selected view. Very irritating to keep repositioning the map each time you want to follow a specific car. The corner numbering and names are a nice improvement over last year. Would be nice to have an option to turn on sector graphic to show where the 3 sectors start and stop as well as where DRS starts.

Most expensive app is now free?

I paid $33 on 6/21 and on 6/22 it was free. Make up your mind! Gets one star because it works on my iPad 2.

Too expensive

by Just a Greek · December 24, 2011

This app is too expensive for what it offers. I will not be spending this much money again. The least they can do is have an upgrade feature for a couple of dollars and this way respect their returning customers. I give it 3 stars because of the price, otherwise I think it is a good app.
