Use sound from sound sources: - Line/microphone input - Sampler - Built-in oscillator
Import any song on your iDevice into the Sampler. Run a sound through a virtual version of the famous Moog filter with a little (or a lot) of filter modulation, delay, and overdrive to create your own musical statement.
Multi-touch X-Y pads provide highly tweakable performance control for live use.
NEW: Switch Pad to "Pitch Lock" mode to play chromatic scales.
KEY FEATURES: OSCILLATOR – A high-resolution, alias-free DSP oscillator with sawtooth and square waveforms, adjustable frequency from 0.3 Hz to 2kHz.
FX MODULES – Amp provides warm, smooth overdrive with feedback control. Delay can be modulated by its own LFO (with rate and depth controls) and delay time is smoothly interpolated for analog-style delay time tweaks.
LFO – Five waveforms: sine, ramp, sawtooth, square, sample & hold, with crossfade and morph between adjacent LFO shapes.
ENVELOPE FOLLOWER – Uses the volume envelope of sound inputs to sweep the filter, with controls for amount and speed.
PRESETS - Filtatron comes loaded with edgy presets to kick-start your sound.
RECORD AND PLAYBACK – All audio processed in stereo, 16bit, 44.1kHz resolution. Filtatron will record samples up to 10MB.
FILE SHARING – Easily move audio files back and forth between the Filtatron and your computer. Built-in email function allows sharing presets with your Filtatron bandmates. Samples can also directly be shared on SoundCloud.
MIDI MAPPING - Almost every parameter can be controlled over MIDI. Use hardware controllers or external sequencers to control Filtatron remotely. Check the MIDI menu on the 'About' page.

8 of 25I write film trailer cues and love sending guitar or drum tracks to this app and messing around with them while at the beach or stuck in traffic. I've come up with some pretty cool sounding stuff on my iPhone using Filtatron. Beautiful interface and amazing sound. I hope they keep supporting it, I'd be sad if it stopped working! Highly recommended.
just needed a simple filter, doesn’t let me take the lfo out waste of money. also when the filter of the mix is on it kills the highs of the mix, the filter is also very weak. was using this through my dj mixer with an irig.
App is broken as of update… This is why you don’t give your money to developers who could care less..

Moog!!! The real thing! Flawless graphic user interface. Intuitive layout will have you synthesizing quick as can be....if you are new to it this is a perfect place to start! I believe all elementary schools should have a moog workstation available for the young minds! music has the right to children. Xenakis composed music for the children. Play music!! Music makes life worth living!!!

...and more. Very nice moogish digital filter that does a very good job of emulating the real deal. You can paste audio from other apps as well as record which allows for some pretty wicked effects. That said, it has a very particular sound that I don't need too often. But when I do it's nice to have.
