Great! Waiting on iPad Pro support.

by jchekanoff · February 9, 2016

I'd love to say 5 stars...but I need iPad and multi-tasking support! I want to have an app side-by-side with Textastic.

Thank you

I was trying to take inventory of all the stuff I bought in 2015, and the Amazon application was very wonky when I tried to copy-and-paste content from it into my inventory spreadsheet (using Numbers). I just needed a plain text editor that wouldn't paste the underlying links or paste WYSIWYG content into the document. Just plain text! Well, that and I'm also a software developer, so I appreciate a really nice text editor. Anyway, thank you! I'd have paid twice this much. It's great.

Horrible

by iLikeSlurpees · November 22, 2015

This app is an absolute mess. Downloads from Dropbox hang as the app tried to copy every file over and over again indefinitely. Connecting to an FTP server is no better due to random permission errors.

Impeccable Design

by Joebily · February 16, 2016

The designers of this app left no thought undone. The workflow of this app is so intuitive and practical I was totally productive in less than one day. The design is eloquently simple and extremely powerful at the same time. I never thought I would ever prefer the iPad over the desktop for non-wysiwyg development, but I do! Thank you so much!

BEST. APP. EVER!!

by brandongrun · February 8, 2016

This app does exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to simply edit my HTML files, and upload them directly to the FTP server. It was easy to set up, connect, and get going!! So awesome to be able to remotely edit a clients website from wherever I am using my iPad Pro. This app is worth 10X what we pay for it, if you've got doubts, leave them behind and buy this app!

Great app

by Josh's iPhone · March 4, 2016

Works really well out of the box. I was able to do what I wanted really quickly with a couple files and get them where they needed to go. I'm sure the manuals are great, I'll get to them later to dig deeper but this works great. <br/><br/>Only complaint: please bring iPad pro support. Looking forward to the update. Great app still

Poor Google Drive Support

by UnsatisfiedCustomer17274 · February 23, 2016

Trying to open multiple source code C++ is a pain in the butt for this application. You basically have to navigate through your directories for every file you want to move over. Some sync support would be nice too. On top of that it won't let me open any source code from Google Drive or OneDrive unless I open them in that application first, and then copy them over to Textastic.

My highest valued app!

I am not a professional coder by any means but do enjoy doing it in my spare time. This is EXACTLY the kind of app I was looking for! Worth every penny!
