8 of 16I've been using LogTen over the last years, and I honestly believe it's the best Logbook App available for the Mac and Apple Mobile Devices. I started of with LogTenMobile, which was replaced by LTP iPhone. After the iPad came out I couldn't wait for LTP iPad. It's an easy to handle app and even with a large amount of flights (5600+) it's fast as lightening! You've gotta love LTP and especially the awesome support from the Coradine guys!
I was looking for an electronic logbook for months and all of them came short in one department. Collecting endorsements and CFIs sign offs was impossible and always required a paper copy to provide complete solution. New LogTen gives me the chance to finally stop keeping my paper logbook as main one. Thanks!
Got great support from LogTen staff. Had a problem that was actually my home computer network. They walked me through my problem anyway. Working great now.
The application is good, but keep crashing when I about to look the full year, or last month hours...pleset fix the bugs, and for your information, This is happen after I update to OS 4.3
You will pay a lot of $$$ For a program that has plenty of bugs. Then before they even fix all the bugs they come out with a new version and you have to pay the full price again. No support for the old version.
As an assistant chief pilot for a small airline, I have to say LogTen Pro produces fantastic reports. I have never used it and am attempting to update my logbook in an electronic form, so i'm making my trial run. I had a few crashes then reloaded the app and it worked fine. Just make sure you get things working correctly before you load an entire logbook into it. The interviewees that bring me their logbooks printed from LogTen Pro are always very professional looking and have the best readability of any electronic logbook. If you're a professional pilot, this certainly helps with the job-process. The price is a little staggering, considering it's nothing more than a user-friendly database, but if you're looking for the best Mac/iphone/ipad logbook out there, I have to say this is probably going to be worth it to you.
This is the second time I've have flights disappear from my logbook. I had 1533 yesterday then I closed it to take a break. When I reopened it later that night to continue I had lost about 30-50 flights I logged.
Just have to get it, I have the Mac, iPhone, and now the iPad version. And all I have to say is the app is easy to use, packed with features, and Coradine has great costumer support.
