Night Browser

Looked good but crashes every 2 or 3 minutes.

Yes, it darkens the screen but - Bookmark Bar won't hold names as entered and... unlike standard Safari - bookmark bar disappears. (only shows when opening a blank page). Plus difficult to get support (rules, regulations, agrmt, blah blah) - could take a note from "All Stays IExit" App developer's support! Hope there's an update coming.

Tap once in the search bar and get blinded by an *undimmed* keyboard. How has nobody else mentioned this?<br/><br/>A couple of sites that work fine in Safari crashed Night Browser, usually those with embedded movie content.<br/><br/>Other than that, great idea.

Exactly what the iPad Doctor ordered. Very iPad intuitive. Seamless integration and ease of use. If you have an iPad, get the Night Browser.

can always just go into setting of device and lower brighteness...no need for this app..and besides, the makers dont say how secure there browser is (encryption etc)

I bought this app highly skeptical, after all, how could a 99 cent app do something so fundamentally useful...if it were so easy, why wouldnt apple have included it? Still, it was only 99 cents.<br/><br/>So now I don't know why apple hasn't allowed the screen to go so dark, considering how Night Browser does it so easily. It's a shame, though, to keep two different browsers maintained. Hopefully Apple steps up and includes this low-ligtt adjustment in a new version...for ALL apps. Apple could also learn from night browser's easy access of the brightness setting
