8 of 25Downloaded this for my STR-DN1030, registered it and was excited to use it! No response. Tried exiting the app, but every time on reentry it deleted the device and I had to reregister it. Save yourself the hour I spent messing with this low-tech.
Now app just hangs, I checked internet connection on all my devices, this can't figure find then after the update, no support for iPhone 6 plus
I don't want the extra features of side view. Why stop making a great app????
I've been using media remote for 2 years and it has always worked great. I don't really like TV sideview because most of the time I just want the remote. Now I have an app that says Media...(Old) and get an annoying pop up reminder every time I open the app that its moving to TV Sideview. Get rid of that, and just let us use what was already working fine, a remote.
This is a great app, but please Sony remove it that message you get when you open up the app to launch the sony tv side view. It's very frustrating that pop up every time you launch the app.
The devoted media app was great! TV side view is a completely different app and the effort to try to push users toward sony's media offerings seems heavy handed and clumsy. Bring our devoted app back!! I loved controlling my entire sony system from its own app without the extra hassle of side view.
The remote itself functions fine but the layout is poor. I have TONS of accidental presses due scrolling of layout. I can't begin to count how many times I have hit a number key when simply trying to scroll up to get to volume keys. There is not enough room for scrolling up or down. Please fix and update for Ipad or continue to get poor reviews.
Ok, I used to think Sony was on a role with about everything they made, until this monstrosity. DONT DOWNLOAD, A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!
