8 of 25While I LOVE rubiks cubes this app just isnt worth the money it is way to hard to use and is almost a pain you would be better of going to the store and buting a rubiks cube. This app makes it hard to look all the way around the cube. The 2x2x2 is the only one that isnt as much of a pain.
The app gets 3 stars for several reasons: A) The virtual cubes don’t always register the touches and swipes I do, so halfway through solving the thing it will rotate something that wasn’t even close to what I wanted rotated. B) For some unknown reason the paid version of the app STILL has a place holder for ads even though there aren’t any to play. That is a design flaw that needs to be fixed immediately. If didn’t happen at all last night, but today it has happened every time I go to the main menu and the virtual cubes. C) I personally feel that the cube solver needs a setting that will go into more detail as to what it is doing and why. Not everyone wants a quick solve. It’s like cheating in Math or science, you get the answer, but did you learn? If any of these three issues get solved in upcoming updates I will gladly re-evaluate my review as needed.
Great app. I like that I can pick up from where I left off. Useful when you only have a few minutes at a time
I got the game because I had been using the free version and wanted access to the other cubes offered. So I payed the $1 only to find out I got nothing for it as far as I can tell it is the exact same game. If I want more cubes I have to buy them as well and the game still has ads. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
Could we have the option to go to the older version where you can move the cube by moving your phone? I found that a lot better than what it is now.
This app really works! Awesome App!
No sound.... boring.
The recent updates have really made this app much worse. One of my favorite features was the best-time tracker that recorded every time cubes are solved and provided several useful averages. It was completely removed, along with the cube solver, and replaced with USELESS skins for the cube. Adding back the 2x2, 4x4, and 5x5 is a step in the right direction, but it's very disappointing that a lot of the good features are still missing.
