Since last update

by Upstakes · August 5, 2012

Crashes frequently and will not connect. Have to reopen the app numerous times to have it connect to the server. Why do updates always make apps worse?? Please FIX!!! Argh!!! Works well tho when it does and really no other app does what teamviewer does. Hence can't bring myself to give it one star. But it used to be a five star app before the last upgrade. As far as the difference between this and the free, if you're managing large groups of comps, the free version does have a limit. In effect, they are charging the really heavy users, and I think that's really more than fair. I didn't mind paying the $99, even though steep price. As well, PC commercial version which I have is in thousands dollars, so feels fair. But the crashes and ultra slow connects and total failures to connect at all SINCE the update is really frustrating. Also noticed similar problems with the PC version as well since update and having paid for that as well - yes the thousands dollars - hope really for a FIX soon!!!

I really have enjoyed this application, it works great over 3G and Wifi. I am a systems engineer and I run a small business on the side, so I purchased two copies - one for work support and one for my small business. I am eagerly waiting for the iPad update to the application, please do not charge me for the iPad update!

"Thank you for playing fair!"

I really like this app a lot. I have a business license for Team Viewer, which I use on my Mac and find that this is actually easier to use, other than if you want to support multiple computers at once. You can close the session and switch to a different one (which is made pretty easy due to the great "Recent Connections" feature), but it would be great to be able to support more than one session at a time. A file transfer feature would be great as well. I found the speed to be pretty good even over 3G.

Lastly, please provide a Universal version, as it would be great to not have to use the pixel-doubling 2x feature via the iPhone app.

BINGO

This is a great application. It works great on 3G and even better on Wifi. When you are on 3G and signing into a computer its slows signing in but once your in from there, you will have no issues. I love this application and will be using it for many things.
