8 of 31The information is great
Downloaded this to watch Wimbledon and have found it incredibly frustrating to find the matches I want to see or navigate all the noise. Plus the amount and repetition of ads is crazy making.
Every time I try and read article, or anything else, I get about five sentences in and the app tries to break itself. It will either send me to the home page, switch to some random article, or gray screen. The app has been completely unusable for the last month. I’ve had the app for multiple years and just uninstalled it.
This app does a good job covering sports but it needs some major improvements. It lags even when there is a strong signal. The advertisements are overwhelming, and you can’t zoom in on the pictures. ESPN is a strong company and their app doesn’t reflect that.
Why give notifications if it is not going to be there when clicked? And takes hours to open on top of it
When Steven a smith was allowed to say what he did with no backlash I realized espn caters to a double standard. I will be deleting services and my app.
STOP DEFAULTING BREAKING NEWS ALERTS. I have this turned off and the app constantly re-enables this setting. Horrible user design.
This is not a sports app anymore. This is simply a vehicle for UFC fight ads. Want a full app takeover UFC ad that has a deceptively hidden x on it? No? Too bad! That’s all you’re getting. Oh and plenty of ESPN+ sign up funnels to also try and grab your money… Beyond that nothing special that other sports apps can’t deliver
