8 of 15Would like to see ability to add notifications for individual data bases. A database that keeps track of bills could notify you when one was due. Would also like to sync the databases between devices via cloud. Otherwise very useful app
This has always been, and still is the very best database program out there. It has a long history and hopefully a long future because many users still rely on it!!!
I have been using this app on an iPhone, without making backups of the files -- not a good idea. I finally discovered how to backup HanDBase files to the iCloud:<br/>1. tap on the three dots to the right of the file name.<br/>2. tap on "Open in"<br/>3. select (tap on) "HanDBase file"<br/>4. scroll down to "save to files"<br/>5. tap on "save to files"<br/>6. the file name and destination are automatically selected; you can change them by tapping and editing. If needed, new folders can be added by tapping on the "+folder" icon.
I've been using Handbase since the PalmOS days. Still does a good job with lists and records.
I really loved this app, it was a great way to create secure databases of whatever I needed. But I also need to be able to update those databases and add new information, and now whenever you try to update an existing record, the app crashes and the info does not get saved. I emailed the company, but they couldn’t even be bothered to respond.
I’ve had HanDBase on all my phones from the iPhone 4 to the 15 Pro Max. There’s always something I want to keep track of and I’ve never found an app better for it. And now that I can plug in a cheap and handy USB scanner, it’s even more useful.
I have used this app to create multiple databases, but lately it’s been crashing often. I hope the developer continues to update it. I’d be sorry to see it leave the App Store.
I may have been using this app for nearly 20 years and it is STILL my favorite and most used app ever! Seriously!<br/><br/>It has been VERY stable through multiple iPhone upgrades and I think I may have even started way back with a Palm Pilot!!!!<br/><br/>I definitely think some modifications are in order, but even if nothing changes, at this point, this app has added years of practical, efficient data management AND a ton of fun!
