8 of 15When iOS introduced PS4 and XBox controller support I was quite excited because that meant this game would finally be truly playable on my portable device. Unfortunately the game will not even successfully launch while you have a controller paired, let alone allow you to play using said controller. Please update this app to include controller support... I know the game is old, and maybe no one is maintaining it anymore, but if you are out there I would re-purchase this game again if it meant I’d get controller support
Pac Man championship edition DX is a great port of the other versions, and it’s well worth the price. But the game is shutting down, so that’s why I’m writing this review. If the game doesn’t shut down, that’s great! If it does, maybe make the port of championship edition 2! We will miss you Pac Man Championship edition DX...

I love this game. I love the classic feel of the game with the updated features. The only rub though is the fact that the game is sooooo easy to swipe away while trying to control the game and this always seems to happen when you are in the heat of the battle to stay alive or munch some ghost. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS
I’ve loved Pac Man Championship Edition since I first played it in a Korean style arcade in Austin. I love version 2 on the XBox. I was forced to buy this DX version because my iOS Championship copy is grayed out. I guess that means I threw away money on a version that won’t work on my new iPhone. This version is fun, but the screen area and sensitivity of the game is not wide enough to use the edges to control the character on iPhone XR. You have to stretch your fingers into the active screen area toward the middle and it’s easy to slip back out of this ambiguous black area with no control sensitivity causing you to mess up and die in a frustrating manner. It also needs external game pad / joystick support as others have noted. If you’re going to keep charging me for new versions of the game, at least make the version you’re currently selling modern.
I just downloaded the game on my iPad since it was on sale but every time I opened it it just crashes and, literally the app can only stay open for 2 seconds before crashing, disappointing.
This game is great, I met original founder of pac-man a few months ago. Championship edition is my favorite, could you upgrade this game to support iPhone 11 Pro Max wide screen, if you can do that, I believe this game deserves six stars!
I absolutely love the game, i would easily give a 5 star rating, the only major set back for me is the fact that the game isn’t optimized for full screen use on the iPhone XR, so it feels like i’ am playing in a screen inside a screen which is quite disappointing considering that its a paid game, you’d typically expect the best value, hope the developers can do something about that.
