Tokyo Drift is a game based on the popular "Need For Speed Tokyo Drift" movie which was made back in 2008. There's a lot to this game like the main quest of becoming "DK" or "Drift King". You play as Shawn who wants to become the new DK but doesn't know how to drift. You meet a incredible cast of characters from random Asian people all the way to Disneys Bow Wow. All in all this game is fantastic. Give it a try.
During the tutorial, the til function had a mind of its own. There are random glitches too. The "broken record" popped up, but all it showed was beam of light and a speck in the middle, and froze there. Needs work.
I don't know why, but this game is addicting. Basically you drive cars around forests, deserts, an Autumn themed place, and more. The big thing about this game, is the drift function. The game actually features a mini-tutorial on how to use it. However... There is one thing that drives me nuts. The button that you press to drift has a radius all over the screen. In other words, if you touch anywhere on the screen while playing... Your car will drift and slow you down. It's just a minor thing that the developers can fix. Very rarely, I get damaged by nothing. But that only happened one time through playing. In conclusion, I think you should try this game and see if you like it. This game is awesome!
Main problems I have with this game is what another user said: in the upper tiers, the cars are so fast that anywhere within the perfect drift window whether it be holding it down or releasing it earlier or faster, you crash. Personally I think the best fix is to change the handling of those upper tier cars. Another thing I'm confused about are those pro/con texts for each car. They're not descriptive enough if those are actual stat descriptions but if they're just there as flavor text, they're not..."flavorful"enough. For me, half the texts are accurate in differentiating the cars from each other, and the other half makes no sense. Everything else is worthy of five stars.
I paid to have the ads removed and it still shows the ads. Unbelievable.
Can I give it six stars?! I can't put it down! So much fun and I really like the Facebook integration where I can compete against my friends.
