I’ve been selling through Poshmark for 3 years and have never had a problem with their QR codes.
This tool wrote AI descriptions guaranteeing items are “like new” - they aren’t and that there is “free shipping” - there isn’t. This doesn’t even appear in my listings I’m importing from. No way to turn this AI slop off and it picks just whatever photo it likes from your listings for the main photo. It also doesn’t import all photos. So bizarre. It’s 2am and I would like to scream. Most frustrating app I’ve ever used in my entire life.
The reps supporting us on Mercari are the BEST! They’re always knowledgeable, helpful and respond quickly to requests. I appreciate them so much! Great job!!!

Just bots that scan your complaint for key words and then send unhelpful information with zero resolution. They are not reading anything that is sent to them, or they can’t read English.
I’ve bought and sold on multiple marketplaces (eBay, Depop, Poshmark, etc.), and this was by far the most frustrating purchasing experience I’ve had. I made an offer on an item, and when the seller accepted, Mercari automatically charged me using an old shipping address saved in my account instead of what I selected via PayPal. There was no opportunity during the offer acceptance process to review or change the shipping address, even though I paid through PayPal with my current address. I immediately tried to contact the seller to fix the issue, but Mercari temporarily restricted my ability to send messages. While I was locked out, customer support told me to “contact the seller” which was impossible because the app wouldn’t let me message them. By the time messaging was restored, the seller had understandably restricted interactions because they thought I was being unresponsive. This entire situation could have been avoided with either: • a shipping address confirmation before payment, • the ability to edit the address before shipment, or • customer support contacting the seller on my behalf. Instead, Mercari’s design turned a simple address mistake into a canceled order and a permanently damaged buyer-seller interaction. The platform and customer support is a huge problem and makes minor inconveniences on this app completely ridiculous.
