Report an issueThe first game in Wadjet Eye's Blackwell mystery adventure series.
Rosa Blackwell's humdrum life is turned upside-down when she discovers she is a medium with the power to talk to the dead.
With the aid of the wise-cracking Joey Mallone, the family spirit guide, she sets out on a quest to lay to rest the ghosts of New York City.
But is Joey as well-intentioned as he claims? And why is her family bonded to him, generation after generation?
"The Blackwell Legacy" is the first in the critically acclaimed Blackwell series. It is followed by "Blackwell 2: Unbound" (available now!), "Blackwell 3: Convergence" (available now!), "Blackwell 4: Deception" (coming soon) and "Blackwell 5: Epiphany" (coming soon)
Just Adventure - "It leaves most independently developed games for dead." - A-/B+ Strategy Informer - "If this were a TV show, one watch of this and any TV network would commission a full series." Adventure Gamers - "By the end of the game, [Rosangela Blackwell] is a main character you want to spend more time with." 4.5/5 Gameboomers - "An unusually compelling psychological study for an independent game to undertake." Gamezebo - "A thought-provoking and detailed plot."

8 of 15I can't move on after interviewing the RA and Kelly. It won't remove the question mark after "Kelly slept elsewhere?" So I'm stuck. Fix this, please!!!
Like the title says, don't listen to the haters. This series is a must buy for the point-and-click enthusiast. This is Wadjet Eye's flagship game, its magnum opus. Do not pass this series up. This series is amazing but I suggest playing Gemini Rue first just to get a feel for what Wadjet Eye is about.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. The game keeps stopping when I try and enter the doctors office. I don’t know if this is a bug or what but I regret paying for this after being able to play for 5 minutes.
I loved these games. I loved the old school feel of them and the general noir atmosphere I felt as I was playing. They were fun to play, and sometimes frustrating, but overall I loved getting to know the characters and feeling inside of their world.
Had an issue with laziness; you guys made it so the simple mechanic of exiting and re-entering a scene after dialogue is exchanged the key to progressing the storyline. Also pebble/cobblestone floated in air until end of game once placed in inventory. I took screenshots Too expensive for how short this segment of the series is, more on par with 1.49….
Bought all of these and they sucked me in. I loved playing them and I’m sad it’s over. If you like point and clicks you will love these. I’d love to see some more Blackwell games, maybe a few prequels or sequels.
I spent half the time looking at walkthroughs just to find out there was no possible way I could have seen the clues I needed to on my phone. It was also pretty short. So 3 dollars for this one, and then the rest. No thank you. I don’t have an iPad, maybe the gameplay is better on that.
This is a great adventure game in the mold of the old point and click games, along with the pixel-art graphics. I loved the atmosphere, characters and storyline. Despite a couple of obtuse puzzles that relied on clicking every option in a dialog tree before the game would progress, I still had fun. Can't wait to play the rest of the games in this series👍
