One missing feature

by sufficientlyunique72 · February 20, 2018

This would be perfect for making Anki flash cards with and Math overflow posts (they both use Latex) if it had one tiny feature. In many apps/sites where you can embed Latex, you have to surround the Latex with makers on either side. In Anki you write [$$] Latex here [/$$] and on Math Overflow you write $ Latex here $. If there was an option to wrap Latex exports with these it would be perfect! As is manually adding them is laborious.

Needs iPhone X support

Great app needs to be updated

Amazing handwriting recognition

by Jdog1764 · January 24, 2018

This is a really good app. The hand writing recognition is surprisingly accurate. It feels more natural than writing latex. Smart gestures like scratch out to erase are nice. Wish there were some improvements. I’d like to write more than single equation at a time. My ideal workflow would be to write several equations and transfer them to a text editor on my computer at once

So much potential

Please let me pay you for this app so you can improve its development. This is the best app for iOS do write math equations, and yet it has ways to go.

Can be better

by Erik Johanson · April 21, 2017

The app won't allow me to draw certain symbols. For example, a floor round symbol. The app instead renders a square brace. It is very annoying!

this is a joke.

by potatoedemon · January 11, 2018

this has to be a practical joke, I can’t even see the answer of what i’m writing. A good calculator would give me the answer, this one just let’s me share what I wrote and that’s it.

Good foundation with room for improvement

This app is great for simpler single-line expressions. However, long expansions with super- and subscripts get messy. The "responsive areas" where I'd write them are too small / insensitive. Also, there needs to be palm-rejection when using a stylus.

I'd love to see updates for this product. I'm currently in a CFD class, and this tool could significantly reduce the hassle of digitizing long equations when coupled with Sharelatex or other editor!

In-App Purchase

by Mike in the Valley · November 18, 2017

I would like to be able to use this app in my work with blind students, but because the ability to export LaTeX and MathML is only available by in-app purchase, my institution will not allow me to make the purchase. This can be easily solved by allowing us to make an up-front purchase by the educational institution. Please fix this. I emailed you about this privately about a month ago, but haven’t heard back from you regarding this issue.
