07/06/26 I wish there was a way to change the search engine within the app browser.

I thought Ecosia would be completely eco-friendly and help with climate change and overall health of the earth and I thought it was a great idea untill I found out it uses AI. INSTANT delete. AI is a huge problem for our earth and our freshwater. very disappointed😡😡😡👊🏻😤😳🤯😡

Climate change will soon become irreversible, please do something, it’s better than nothing.

I love no ai but why is the search bar at the bottom of the page, also why when I scroll does the page switch between the tabs. It’s infuriating.

Been a pretty good search engine so far, but I’ve had to turn off AI overviews about 10 times in the past week. It seems to keep turning itself back on, and I’m always logged in so I know it’s not just because I’m logged out. Wanted an AI free search engine (or at least, one that gave me a choice) but clearly this isn’t a good one for that. Unfortunate

Amazing app and very accessible. The app focuses on environmental impacts and preserving our planet. A few bugs but the pros outweigh the cons all day!

What’s more to say? A company that purports to care about the climate jumped on the biggest energy bonfire around. What a fast way to set goodwill on fire.
