8 of 15For those who purchased this app are having black screen issues it won’t even progress after it shows developer teams just goes dark it’s the 19th anniversary of my moms death and this was her favorite video game series we spent hours playing every original tomb raider game and I was trying to relive my childhood and gain that sense of my mom back I tried to forget all these years please fix this game I’m begging you it’s the same with tomb raider 2 please please patch the game and update it for my sake of feeling my mom there again
As of the date of this review when launching the game, you’ll get a black screen after the developer credits. You’ll hears sound and see nothing. Wait for the cutscene to finish, and the game menu appears. You can then play normally. Whenever a full-motion video cutscene appears the screen will continue to blackout, though. Two stars until full functionality is restored.
The game opening movies show but the game is only a black screen with the main music playing in the background and it is unplayable. This is for both Tomb Raider I and II and these are two of my long time favorite games, PLEASE FIX!!! ):
I'm a huge fan of the franchise and having this game has been so much fun and nostalgic! Unfortunately the software is out of date due to many Apple updates. I truly hope both games are updated soon now that we are on the 25th anniversary of the franchise.
It shows the cutscenes and it plays the music and you can hear the audio from the game running but there is no output to the screen. Probably a simple update to a line or two of code is all that is required but they will probably never touch this app again and I won’t be able to play TR1. All would be forgiven if they decide to port TR4 though! Even if they don’t fix this app for iOS 13.

Great value for the money and the control is not too bad when you really get used to it.
