8 of 15To have a short story, this app is god awful, crashes constantly, constantly tries to get your money, and art programs from the 2000s has more features. To have a bit of a longer story, this app is the reason I’m an artist. It was the first art program I ever used and really lead me to fall in love with art. The app was very nice about how it got its income by having a reasonable price tag on more layers and features that were extras. I used this app for years and it was completely fine and I was just obsessed with it. So for three good years I used this app with no problems. Then I found a different art program that was much more professional so I went to that for some years and now coming back all I can say is that someone in the company is actively making in worse. So many features are behind a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE for a mediocre at best art program that crashes constantly. Some of these features include basic brushes, turning the canvas, and straight up using the program offline (which concerns me about my privacy). All of these things were free some years ago and the app almost never crashed. You can’t even make new drawings without being begged to pay. The reasons I give two stars is because its lasso tool isn’t half bad and I don’t want to be given the soulless automated response by the company. Use a different app, I promise you there’s better actually free softwares/apps that are much more useful than this trash
Good but I can’t get all of it
I have had this app for many years at this point, using it for a wide variety of projects. There has always been the option to buy pro, but the free version at least provided a lot on its own. Then I go to use it today (July 6, 2026) after just using it the day before, and suddenly I now have to buy pro to access all the basic pens?! All I want is to use the ink pen (right in the middle of a huge project btw!!) and now I have to pay for it. I don’t need all the fancy additions of pro, I just want to be able to use the pens that we have ALWAYS had access to. This was my favorite drawing app, but asking us to pay for the bare minimum is absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE give us the pens back!!
The best app ever but I don’t like you have to pay but still sooo fun you can whatever you want
Stupid part about this. Is that when you try to make a new artwork you have to pay and get a free trial just to get a new artwork and you have to pay .

The app is very satisfying for people like me that usually very bored and creative but it’s not very cheap . I can’t buy all this brushes and it is always asking me to pay it . That is ANNOYING!! But it is a really good sketch app
