Samsung Smart Washer&Dryer

I’m only giving this a one star because I wish you could use it like the Smart things app. My laundry is in my basement so it would be nice to know when my washer is done without having to go down to check or set an alarm. I like the smart things app because it tells me when my fridge door is opened and closed. I just wish this one was the same.

Samsung products are complete trash!!! Will never buy another product made by this company. The smart care is a joke after 4 years there’s no support for the appliances washer/dryer I purchased. Here I am looking to have to replace the trash appliances I wasted my hard earned money buying 4 years ago! Lasted 4 years!!! Really Samsung!!

App is for washer only, not dryer. No app search results for dryer only. Chat support took me to a range discussion, not dryer. Dryer voice support tried to sell me a replacement because repair cost would equal cost for a new appliance.

This app is so poorly designed. Looks like it has never been updated since the 2000s. Doesn’t connect properly and is a total waste once you do get it connected after 15+ try’s. Washer and dryer are amazing but the app is 1 star.

Do you actually have an app for the dryer?

Bought a brand new washer and dryer set with smart care and almost two years later, have yet to be able to use said feature. The crappy app only recognizes the washer’s code, never the dryer. And even though the washer’s code is recognized, I still can’t control the washer from the app, because there’s no way to see the supposedly linked washer to be able to do anything with it. Waste of money and time.

There are so many 1 Star reviews on here that complain about connectivity issues, lack of features, etc.<br/><br/>All this app was designed for is to check error codes so that the consumer can be walked through by a customer service rep when problems happen. Basically so that a repairman doesn’t need to be called out for little things that can be easily fixed.<br/><br/>It is so absurd that people don’t understand this! One review basically blamed this app because the person wasted either 20 or 25k (I guess they forgot how much they were trying to lie about spending in their 1 paragraph review)???<br/><br/>It’s a good app if you know how to use it. My washer was displaying a weird error code which basically just needed to be reset. Used the scan feature on the app, reset the machine, calibrated the drum, boom 5 minutes later it was back up and running.

If you’re lucky, maybe. I had ZERO help by using this for clothes dryer problem.
