8 of 15It ONLY lets you use it when it sends you an email. It sent me an email and made me click on a link and it opened an app called Documents5 (a PDF reader) and it said "file can't be opened." So if you're reading this, there's no point in downloading it. Don't waste your time like I did.
Read Complains, will save You lots of time.
This app is very useful and convenient, especially when I want to sit a few feet back from the desk. The jog wheel alone makes it a winner. I don't understand all the complaints about setup, it's easy. If you can't figure out how to set this up, I'd have to question your skills in a professional working environment. I use on iPad when I sit back, having the iPhone next to my mouse as a jog wheel is a godsend. Both can be connected simultaneously. No problems on El Capitan 10.11.6. Thank you!
This app hasn't been updated in 5 years. No longer works.
Great app when you can use it. I purchased this app a few years ago. I can’t remember how much it was but either way I purchased it. Developers please update this app!
For a few weeks this worked for me so well...then I upgraded my iPad to iOS 11...and this doesn’t work anymore. It has been so long now that I have given up, and would encourage the developer to make the code open source so it might rise up again. ...and so pretty it was too.
these guys won’t update the app to work with the latest version of iOS. Now it’s not available to install on my modern iPad 😡. I’m stuck with it on an old iPad. They could at least respond to my emails. Update: There is still no answer from these people, why even make this app? I feel like they stole my money.
I was leery about this app initially, but I was tired of navigating Final Cut Pro X with the mouse and keyboard. The cost of an FCPX dedicated keyboard was not in the budget. While the app can be purchased through iTunes, the (Mac) server software is downloaded/installed directly from the developer. A little risky, but the site appears to be legit. In any case, I have used ProCutX for about 15 minutes and I'm quite satisfied. I wish it had more functionality, but based on the current cost, I can't complain. I am relying less on the keyboard/mouse which is saving me some editing time and reducing "carpal tunnel". If you don't have FCPX running on a Mac, don't download the app to your device. I am using an iPad 2 with the app and it works quite satisfactory. How much would I pay for more functionality? It depends...
