Duolingo - Language Lessons

Duolingo keeps chess interesting through a variety of exercises, matches, and replays. It’s an amazing, productive way to pass time on the train. I love the option to block other apps until I finish a lesson. One thing I’d like to see changed is removing the screen that requires clicking an icon several times to earn points. I find it kind of annoying and prefer if it just takes me to the next lesson. Other than that, I think it’s a great app.

I love it. It’s absolutely great. It’s really great at teaching me French. It’s just a little bit. It’s just a little bit finicky the voice part about it. You should definitely try it if you’re reading this sorry I’m an 11-year-old so I’m bad at spelling.

Love this app! Crazy how addictive it is and it’s awesome to keep learning more and more Spanish!!! I even got multiple family members hooked on it too 💚

This app is a great app but what if I want to face time or have unlimited it cost money and I don’t have 150 for every month or even every year

This app greatly helped me learn Spanish and is helping me excel in school, and I love how you can personalize your own characters, on that note, It would be really cool to see more variations of skin colors, clothes colors and stuff like that. Overall love this app and thanks so much!

its great for learning any language but w energy it’s hard to keep up if you have mistakes but when there was hearts it was much more easier and fun

I’m enjoying the gamification of learning. I like Duo Lingo except I find that it’s a lot of money for an app that doesn’t focus on speaking the language as much as learning vocabulary. One has to buy “Max” if they want the version that focuses more on speaking, and I already paid $120 for “Super”. My only other complaint is that sometimes the “listening” capacity is off. I am literally saying the correct word, but it doesn’t “hear” me and then counts me as giving an incorrect answer, which messes with my overall score. It doesn’t happen too often, just often enough to make a note of. Despite this sounding overall negative, I really do enjoy Duolingo, but I recommend an app like Pimsleur if you really want to focus on speaking another language, not just learning vocabulary.
