Scamming Miscreant

by Jkh0208 · August 8, 2021

The developer abandoned this version of the software and is now selling a new version instead of updating this version, and this version no longer functions. This is how shady developers attempt to sell the same product multiple times to the same customers for pure profit.

Way to screw over your loyal customers. AUM is better anyway.

Don't give them any more money. Use AUM instead.

I don’t understand “why”

Why are there even 2 versions? Steinberg gave me Cubasis 2 for free, and there is no Cubasis 1 anymore. This app is compatible with some other apps, whereas some apps only work with Audiobus 3. I think your method of generating more profit by forcing old customers to buy a new version, not only confused users, but also developers who now have to make their apps compatible with 2 different versions of Audiobus? One of my favorite apps, GeoShred, who has an awesome dev team, haven’t made it compatible with AB 3 yet, but again, why should they have to, when it already works with AB 2. Why?
Is just for the $$$$ you had to make headaches like this for EVERYONE who uses your app(s)......

GREAT APP!, disappointed in the $10 update.

Blah, blah, blah... probably still going to buy Audiobus 3, but I'll never trust anyone ever again.

Lost another one

by Coyoute · August 4, 2017

Audiobus 2 has seemingly been working less and less and then I see the new synth I just bought is compatible with Audiobus 3 so I go looking for the upgrade. No where... just have to pay for it all over again for what is essentially an update. No discount for your previously paying customers?!? That is standard across the board for software developers. Why should anyone give you anymore money because you fixed what is broken? Pretty sleazy...

You have got to be kidding me

What a bunch of weasels you are. I buy this app and the remote, they doesn't work as promised, and the "next" version that tech support said was supposed to fix all these problems isn't a free upgrade? Say goodbye to all your customers. Weasels.

Update: developer stonewalls. Other options exist than this product.

Waste of money

It doesn't support any of the basic apps you would use to listen to things like music, or podcasts, videos, etc.

So is Audiobus 2 broken with 3 out?

by whyshouldi? · February 13, 2018

I’ve tried for a year to get this work. If I paid for 2 I expect it to work if the apps are indicated as compatible. It barely was useful even before 3 came out, so I wasn’t expecting much. I’m just going take the loss and dump this app from my iPhone and iPad.
