Report an issue* "Without doubt the most powerful and genuinely useful percussion app on the App Store right now" Computer Music * Reached the #1 paid music app in 5 countries * SonicTouch (www.sonicstate.com) gold award
Impaktor is a drum synthesizer with a vast sonic palette, that turns any surface into a playable percussion instrument.
You just slap your desk like you would a real drum. The real acoustical impulses from the built-in microphone are used as an excitation source for advanced sound modules that simulates behavior of membranes, cymbals, metallophones or strings. This makes Impaktor a highly responsive and expressive instrument.
With semi-modular architecture and several types of synthesis, Impaktor can produce a wide range of tones, from acoustic, like Tabla, Djembe, Marimba, Cymbals, Metal bars to electronic or industrial sounds.
We strongly recommend using the app with wired headphones to avoid acoustic feedback and ensure ultra-low latency. (USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter, USB-C headphones or an audio interface).
You can use the Impaktor app with a contact microphone or analog drum pad to achieve isolated and sensitive input, reducing ambient noise and enhancing trigger accuracy.
Enjoy the most realistic virtual drumming experience available for mobile devices!

8 of 15This app states it supports InterAp audio. It does not. Will not load in any Interapp audio program apparently This is a well-known issue and if you search the Internet there are multiple posts in different audio forums discussing this. Developer does not respond to any of them. Tried direct emailing developer several times but no reply. Developer needs to either update description to not supporting inter app app audio or remove from App Store as this is strictly why I purchased the app and I would like my money back. I would be careful about buying any other products from this developer as they do not offer any support.
The keyboard opens up and glitches me stuck on screen I cannot save stuff.
Re-discovering this App. Great for creating organic sounds. PLEASE MAKE THIS AN AUV3 AUDIO FX (too useful not to have this. Ableron link would also be great😀)
This app will probably be one of my favourite drums and perc apps and i just bought it minutes ago...truly unique and very much worth what little this awesome dev asks for it!
Not sure what’s going on I love beepstreet but this is frustraiting the app doesnt work at all. I dont really understand but the actual sound is staticky and rarely works correctly. I dont usually go for a refund but I’m going to fight on this one.
Cool app...I’m still trying to fit it in to my work flow for recording. It is very responsive and taps the beat out accurately. A couple of little shortcomings is it only quantizes to 1/16...1/32 would be great because I often tap out quick little beats and fills that Impaktor struggles with and makes it slower when I want it faster. Turning the quantize off is an option, but it’s difficult to be precise. Also, a 4 or 8 beat count-in option would be wonderful. This app has a decent selection of drums from which to choose and has great potential.
Just got it today but I can already see the possibilities with it! I just hope background audio is introduced and maybe some midi control for playing with other apps. Great app so far though.
The app works fine on its own, but it will no longer load into my GarageBand. I’ve a previously recorded Impaktor track that I had created a few months back when it was working fine.
