Disney XD has great content, but streaming via its app leaves a lot to be desired. Episode lineups and selections are clunky, it is difficult to navigate the content, and worst of all each episode has its Hulu-esque repetitive commercials. Disney would be wise to learn from the leaders in streaming services when launching their platform next year.
It's terrible you can't even watch anything
The app crashes whenever I open it pls help
This app streams to other devices like water in an old tire. It works acceptable from the device itself but in order to watch one episode I have to watch all the ads cycle through around 3 times. THEN I get to enjoy pixelated low quality picture for the duration of the show. Also, there isn't a "next" option after the episode is over. I don't want to have to navigate the poorly organized and functioning app just to watch the next episode. If it wasn't for Rebels and my guilty pleasure, Pokémon. I'd have given up on this a long time ago.
I don't know what developer team Disney hired for this app but it's really bad. No split screen support, no picture in picture, and it crashes every time you set up your tv provider. The shows are good so it's a shame the app is this bad.
Looks good but Sling is my provider and it won't appear in the Tv provider section and and I have Disney xd on my Sling account plus there is like 50 cable providers on there that I never even heard of!
The live T.V. does not work even when I am on my dads DIRECTV account. Every time I try to use it it says, "No account returned from UPDA. Please fix this. It is the same on, "Disney Channel" and, "Disney Junior". And also the same thing happens sometimes on some of the, T.V. Shows. Other than that it's perfect. Thx. -DiamondSpoon55
