Dragons Odyssey Frane is a high-quality action-role-playing game from Japanese veteran game developer, Exe-Create.
Beautiful hand-drawn 2D graphics, a wonderful soundtrack, and an excellent English translation coupled with talented voice actors set this title apart and make it a great fit for anyone who has been patiently awaiting a solid fantasy title for iOS to come out of Japan.
We hope you will enjoy Dragons Odyssey Frane, as it is one that has been beloved by many gamers across Japan.
In Vanneth, the world above, and under the direction of God coexist two races charged with the oversight of Kalenthia-or in other words, the world below. These two races are the Angel Clan, who administer blessings; and the Demon clan, who administer trials.
Sadly, being unable to compromise in their beliefs, they have clashed and disputed continually over how to promote temporal growth in the world below for untold numbers of years.
It is during such a time that one angel named Escude decides to prove who is right once and for all, and in breaking Gods commandment not to interfere directly in the affairs of humans, she descends to the world below.
Having caught wind of this, God summons her most trusted servant, Kunah, the son of the fire dragon chief.
And along with Riel, Kunah's childhood companion, who is also consquently the daughter of the ice dragon chief, he follows after Escude in an attempt to bring her back to Vanneth. And so the story of a dragon duo under the guise of human children begins and the unlikely adventure that awaits them below the clouds on the vast Kalenthian continent...

8 of 15Dragons Odyssey Frane is a port of a 2003 JRPG by Exe-Create, and is in fact the third installment in the Frane series. The game is an action-RPG with equal parts dungeon crawling, item crafting, and dating simulation-like components. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself is fairly uninspired and dull (mash three buttons and grind for ten minutes to win), and the pacing is extremely poor -- Petas Town is about to be trampled by monsters, but let's first head to our village to cook nine hamburgers to give as presents to our BFF before he leaves the village to commit mass murder…? Version 1.0.1 adds a Japanese voice option, but let's face it--some of the Japanese voices are pretty bad, too. There are issues with volume balancing: some voices are too quiet to be heard over the music at times, others too loud. Finally, having the Japanese language option also makes it abundantly clear that a large number of inappropriately vulgar lines and jokes have been inserted into the English script. I can appreciate a Ted Woolsey and even a Carpe Fulgur-style translation, but lines like "[My daughter] needs another severe beating at my hand" and "Quit ogling those nasty women, horndog" border on being outright offensive to the developers. The bottom line is this: in an App Store in which full-featured ports of games are often available for less than $10, this buggy excuse of a port of a 2003 game is not worth $12. I grew up playing console RPGs and I'd love to continue to support JRPG developers, but if Exe-Create continues to put out trashy ports like this, I do not intend to purchase any of their future releases.
Monster spawn rates make you feel like there is no point to fighting the game is overly difficult you have to leave the first quest within moments because weapons are not good enough to continue i think the price tag was to get a chunk of money an run tatic dont even know if the firat boss is even beatable they may have done that as there may be nothing after that quest..
Can't stop playing this game. The bad part is that it crashes on me and that gets really frustrating but other than that it is fun.
Love rpgs and this one doesn't disappoint, some things i wanna point out is the crappy english translation, also in some cut scenes u can't hear the voices, last cut back back on the monster spawn rate!!seriously!!!!Please update thankyou.keep it coming
The voice acting is annoying in either language, and does nothing for the horrible and horribly clichéd script. Above that, the combat is horrible. Smashing 2 buttons meaninglessly. Has nothing going for it really...
Just speed up the text dialogue and its perfect.......
I paid $12 for this game n I have no idea how to play this game. I feel like I have been scammed. Stay away.
Great game Add achievements please
