You have complete control of your child’s web environment. Instead of trying to infer what is appropriate for your children based on behavior or demographics, Maxthon's Kid Safe browser keeps it drop dead simple: Parents set up a safe web environment by creating a safe list of websites they want to allow their kids to access. (You can use the Kid Safe browser's pre-selected list of award-winning, age appropriate sites or enter your own.)
Access to any url from web domains NOT in your safe list will be blocked. That means advertisements, promotions and links to outside sites from a 'safe site' will be blocked, keeping your child's web activity safely within the boundaries you create. Same thing for search results, too.
Creating and modifying of the safe-list requires a password you can reset yourself. This extra security will prevent kids from changing the safe-list. Maxthon’s Kid Safe browser includes:

I have 2 elementary school children and they both have iPads. Unfortunately all the other "kid safe" browsers allow them to use google to search the web. They say that they filter the results. Not good enough. Try and type in spring break in one of those searches and click images! Not good enough for me. This app allows me to have peace of mind knowing that only the websites I add are available to my children.
Very cute browser for the little ones！ Works great。。。I have both the kindle fire and the new ipad。 I do most surfing on the fire because I can't stand to use a browser other than the max！ Really though。。。。you won't be disappointed in this browser for the little one。。。
This app is super buggy and will close when trying to add sites. Really disappointed.
I have been using Maxthon since the classic version came out and I refuse to use anything else. But the kid's version is confusing. It would be nice if we had some sites to get us started. Which it looked like we did. All we got was a blank browser? It did not even want to accept the sites I put in. I wii be back to try later. Because like I said I do love Maxthon. Thanks Donnalou
