Worth the price fun game
I have played a number of Arkanoid style games on my iPad and they seldom hold my attention for long. The first thing that grabbed my attention is how gorgeous and sharp the graphics look on my new iPad. Animations are really attractive as well. The game runs smoothly, even when things get very busy. The drag controls work fine and I am really happy to have this as an option as tilt controls are never my preference. The game play is frantic and fun, with plenty of the typical brick breaker power ups appearing. The ability to use the bananas to get those last pesky pieces nicely addresses a flaw that is typical of these type of games. While you can purchase extra bananas using IAP, more then enough gets earned through game play making that unnecessary. There is a minor annoying bug where sometimes a little Chillingo banner appears at the bottom of the screen in-game, the developer has promised that this will be corrected in the next update. This is an enjoyable game with plenty of levels and polish that is a great buy for just a dollar. Just about every week, Chilingo seems to turn out another gem. Monkey Slam certainly qualifies.

This game is very fun and entertaining. You might need to buy more bananas to complete some levels.
Pretty much lerv
I really wanted to like this game. I've tried it several times over a week or so. The execution is weak enough to be frustrating. The game mechanics aren't quit right.
