Loads of fun - tweak for dual saving, Please!

by Most Fungi · June 30, 2012

Great fun at a great price! Controls took a little bit to get used to, but as long as your screen and hands are clean (thumb doesn't stick) a smooth strafe-like run is possible. Please! If you can - have a dual save system where you can select to reboot from either last manual save (ie, my awesome health and weapons set-up pre-carnage) and the auto-save (when a call comes in or another interruption pops up). It is great that you have this auto-save in case of accidents but I don't always need/want to load from there!

Fun game - takes me back to the good old days (1997) when FPS's were fun. Controls take some getting used to but be patient - a must get for old school Doom fans. Thanks to IGN for the recommendation.

Not the best, but still good

The same doom like gameplay and feel, but my main concern with the game is that every level is designed to unfairly send u into a room with about 300 dudes to kill just to pull a switch and after that the wall behind u opens and 10 more boss like enemies come at u. Also health packs are spread to thin throughout each level, but I guess I like the challenge, I think people who try this game for the first time might be put off by the difficulty even on easy. The gameplay is good, but killing 1000 of the same awkwardly animated enemies gets boring if that's the 10 time I've done it that level, also I've no ammo and have 1% health left, again
