When trying to view the circular and coupons within this app, I can never try to browse it without it jumping around to different areas. <br/><br/>This is very annoying and needs addressed, as this has been an issue for multiple previous updates to the app.

Update June 2026: app requires iOS 17. Why? There is NOTHING this app does that requires iOS 17. Apple still supports iOS 16. Giant should too. If you have an older device, they force you to the web. What do you do in the store to scan your loyalty card?? This is consistent with their level of service and dedication to customer satisfaction in the real world. Wegman’s app still works on iOS 16.<br/><br/>It does appear they took my previous advice re. crashing vs. forcing a newer version. See below.<br/><br/>Original review: On 2 different ipads as soon as it opens, it minimizes and will not come back up. iOS 12.4.1. Two reinstalls and restarts on each device changed nothing. Update Sept. 19 2020: another pass at uninstalling, restart ipad, install app did nothing. It still flashes and crashes immediately. Update Sept. 22 2020: I cannot imagine what someone on the phone would tell me. What else is there to do? You should just change the app requirements to need iOS 13 or later since you cannot figure out how to make it work on iOS 12. Update Oct. 3 2020: I updated one iPad to iOS 14 and guess what? No more crashing. On the other iPad with iOS 12.4.1? Yeah, still crashes. This app requires at least iOS 13. It’s really easy to add that restriction. Asking your users to call support is just a waste of our time and your support reps.

My phone is only a 7+ so evidently I cannot update or use your app. So sad since I shop at Giant. Unreasonable to get a new phone.

The app *still* doesn’t offer a Favorites List separate from the Shopping List, or ideally multiple Favorites and/or Shopping Lists. But Acme does! Why won’t Giant?<br/> My Shopping List in the Giant app currently has 361 items on it, which pretty much makes it useless. I’ve been trying to use the one available list to:<br/>- try and remember optional things I *want* to buy in the future when my budget might allow it,<br/>- try to quickly (it’s not working out that way) access basic foods we like and can afford that my child with Celiac disease can eat (meaning only gluten free), and “special treats” for him when the budget allows, and<br/>- do the same for the rest of the family (not Celiac, so we can eat a broader range of foods), and of course <br/>- remember what I *need* to buy this week. <br/> It’s impossible to do all that in the app. I can’t do everything I want to do with the single Shopping List; please improve that experience. <br/> I also agree with many of these other reviews: the app is glitchy. <br/> I love Acme’s feature that lets me chat with the shopper while they are shopping. Saves a lot of frustration about substitution items. <br/> Oh, and speaking of substitutions, for the love of God please have an actual person, who knows how to shop for groceries, go through the substitution suggestions. For example if I want a family size bag of frozen chimichangas, don’t offer me lasagna or mac and cheese just because they’re also in the frozen section. Lazy!
