Worst app ever

by Drirot · March 22, 2021

I don’t have any problems with the other discover app (HGTV, etc).
The DIY network used to be a pay extra package, but has moved to the standard HD package on my cable provider (Mediacom). I have since dropped the extra package, because I now get it as part of my service. The problem is the app won’t let me access the content. It shows my provider in the upper right corner like the other apps. I even contacted Mediacom about the problem, but they don’t seem interested in trying to find out the problem. I assume Mediacom still has this listed as a pay service, but won’t change it. There was someone else that had this problem and wrote a review 3 years ago, and i don’t know who his provider is.
I can’t even use the app with commercials.

Way too many adds

The app is good but the amount of adds are so annoying and keep repeating over and over. Better watch the shows on Xfinity app.

Can’t log in to get channel unlocked

by Bayly:: · May 12, 2020

Why can’t I get the channel unlocked for full content? My provider is supposed to offer diy network. Guess I’ll never see Chip and Joanne again.

Big Fan and It’s Free!

Unlike most network apps, I can watch tons of free episodes streaming straight from my mobile device, and it isn’t causing me any issues. I love the content as well, it’s wholesome and interesting. This will definitely be my new go-to entertainment app!

My subscription

I have DYI as a part of my Dish subscription …RECENTLY LOCKED OUT SAYING IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE IF IT IS PART OF MY DISH PACKAGE. It is part of my package....

App has issues

by goldenone19 · September 20, 2021

The app has issues. I can’t link my tv provider and it won’t stay updated on Apple TV. Waste of time downloading this. Just buy the season pass for the show you want instead of trying to fight this.

Annoying

by Jolie Rouge · July 7, 2020

Frequently this app will lock episodes, saying you have to be logged in with your service provider, even though I am. Turning it on & off, uninstalling & reinstalling, logging in & out, nothing helps. Since my primary use is to watch episodes of my favorite shows with this app, which it won’t allow, I can only give this app one star.
