8 of 13THERE IS no SUBSTITUD FOR THESE MAGASINE
This app crashed after the new iOS and now refuses to open. After four months of back and forth with tech "support" it still doesn't open, but I'm still charged for each issue of my subscription I haven't even seen. They can't seem to fix it nor cancel my subscription. Same is true for the other Porsche magazine... Pocketmags can't get it right after four months...
Why make a "free" app that's only good for 1 issue? If I have to pay for any past or future issues it's not really free. Bummer! Thought this was going to be a marketing tool for Porsche and give some good articles and reviews of their vehicles.
What a great way to enjoy a great magazine. So much cheaper than a print subscription! You can get 3 UK subscriptions for the price of 1 print.
Fantastic magazine! This magazine is incredible. I enjoy the mag in print and on iPad. The photography is stunning and the articles are extremely well written. All Porsche enthusiasts will love this magazine. The Brits know how to put out great magazines without a doubt.
...especially when in the middle of a download. Then I am unable to boot it up again until after 10 minutes or so.<br/><br/>Haha, i cant even type in a keyboard mashed nickname because it's apparently taken..<br/><br/>EDIT: new month, new issue, same problem.... :-(
The magazines look nice on the iPad. $4.99 per issue isn't bad considering the US newsstand price is typically $10+. Having instant access to back issues is very nice. The only annoying thing I have found is that I have to scroll through all the available issues to get to the one I purchased each time I want to read it, after closing the app.
Excellent magazine, good mix of old and new cars. Outstanding reviews.<br/>Highly Recommended
