Report an issueThis stunningly beautiful app is like having a virtual art set right inside your iPad. Paint and draw via the photo realistic interface with tools that look and feel like the real thing.
Art Set gives an alternative to complex and mechanical like paint apps for all to enjoy - artist or not! But simplicity comes without sacrificing quality, from pens to pencils, paints to pastels, each has been carefully crafted to produce natural results in real time.
The 3D textured oil paint gives amazing thick gloopy strokes or thin delicate detail via virtual pressure sensitivity.
Sparkle and glow with special metallic and fluorescent colours. Build up subtle tones and textures with oil pastels, wax crayons, coloured pencils and marker pens. Add fine detail via multitouch pinch and zoom. Choose from different paper colours and textures, or import your own photos.
The blending tools give you many ways to mix and smudge colour around on the canvas with varying effects. Create anything from smooth gentle gradients to roughly textured scratches and splatters.
- thick 3D textured oil paint - five blending tools - metallic colours sparkle and shine - fluorescent colours that glow and dazzle - zoom and pan for fine detail - high resolution canvas on retina screens at near 4 Mega pixels (1728 x 2304) - import your own photos and images - export to your photo album, email or social networks - recent tool list keeps used colours and tools to hand - virtual pressure sensitivity - unlimited undo - real time high performance - Apple Pencil support for pressure and tilt

Due to a known apple itunes bug, I am unable to consistently download to install your app update. I have been waiting 6 weeks for a fix from Apple. Thought you should be aware of Apple hindering your hard work. ==== Developer, Subscription model: I don’t like over paying for an app over and over again. I don’t want to spend 50.00 a month (for 20 apps) to use needed apps. My budget will not allow it. Basically I will be "buying" an app for big bucks over time instead of a reasonable fee one time fee which I could save up or stagger buying over time. Many app store users are on limited income/SSI/SNAP. Allow me to prepay a year or still offer a one time cost for several years at a reasonable price. If you lock out my already paid for App; I will fight you. I will not be abused.
Just when I thought digital art couldn’t get more complicated, these guys exceeded any expectations with their upgraded app that replaced ArtSet 4…they could have left well enough alone, but nooooo, they had to turn artistic creation into a thrill ride inside some programmers’ minds. Just return the ArtSet 4!
I tried to draw something but it ended up looking like the F word, so I wanted to delete it. A day later I logged back in and it was still there. I had to delete the app and buy it again
In the non-pro edition, how do I change the brush width?
This is the best art app I have tried! Use a paint brush, Markers, Crayons, Colored pencils, Pens and more! You can even upload your own photo! Trust me--try it!
I am having so much fun with this app. It's easy to use, and is helping me understand how to use all different sorts of media. It's great to be able to paint wherever I am, so long as I have an iPad with me.
I think the oil paint my be as close to real as a tablet can get. Manually reloading the brush and varying how much paint gets on the brush are the features that won me over.
