8 of 15This doesn’t update as quickly and it even tracking my naps. I’m disappointed and guess I’ll get rid of my Fitbit. :-(
UPDATE:
So, because I wrote this very negative review, the developers wrote to me to try to talk me out of it! AND they gave me a dumb as* link to help me “explore” the new app!!! Unbelievable! THAT’S their response???

No, I don’t want to have to “explore” your app. I want it to be intuitive, the way the old app was! Are you so clueless as to how people use these kinds of things?

Sorry, my original review still stands. I still hate this new app.

Here’s my original review:

I hate, hate, hate this new app that replaced my old Fitbit app. The layout is SO hard to read. It’s too cluttered and it buries the information I really want to know.

PLEASE, either let us have the old layout back or let us edit the app so we can feature the info we are actually interested in.
I cannot uninstall the timers and alarm applications any longer, I used to be able to then an update happened and they’re installed permanently. Please change!
Please bring back more original data of Fitbit app.

- For heart rate, show estimated fitness level. Show current heart rate shown live, large and on top in the app - It’s nice to be able to prop phone up and see current heart as you are exercising.
- For hourly activity, show average longest idle time, and the longest idle time for that day. Nice to know that I’m doing a better job of getting up after shorter periods of time

The cardio load metric seems way different.

Thank you for keeping most else, and the look somewhat similar.
Specifically for food tracking — portions are wrong or can’t be adjusted. Most relevant foods are hard to find. Can’t add custom foods. When you add food, tedious to go back to add what meal, etc. Fitbit app was more user friendly & straight forward. This is tediously unnecessary extra inputting and lack of editing details. Make it like the Fitbit app.
As an active Fitbit user, I am horrified by the new algorithm this app is using. My sleep is no longer being tracked appropriately. Sleep scores are all off. Terrible update- ruined my year. I would not recommend a Fitbit to anyone anymore.
I loved the fitbit app. My only qualm was that it could have tracked food a little better, and during pregnancy, I would have liked a settings option.

But now Google took over and ruined everything. The tracking is different, and wrong. The home screen is not customizable anymore. And the notifications are insane annoying!
I loved my fitbit app. This new update is so hard to navigate and logging always lags. Bring back the old interface!
