8 of 15Really sick of this bite & switch developers I want my 10$ back.
This app is amazing for sculpting and it’s basic! It’s awesome and I e been using it for almost a year now. However the new update that came out is a little unfair for people who have payed 20 dollars for the app to learn that there will be no more bug fixes or updates for it and in order to get those updates you have to pay a subscription. The main reason I brought the app was it was a 3d sculpting software that didn’t have subscriptions. Again very good app but the update is a little unfair.
Sadly had high hopes for this app before it turned like pixologic and sculptris, it was bought by maxxon and now it will go down the same way as sculptris did…
App is no longer supported. Do not buy.
Only that I pay money for this app but I also paid for the NL purchase to be able to paint then they took the feature away and said they were going to bring it back in from when I can tell they never brought back the feature so we should be over some money
Why it turned to classic? 5$ was not enough for company!?
I originally bought this in order to texture paint while lazing in bed. Unfortunately, there’s no unlit texture option, or blending tools. As a sculpting app, it’s easy to understand. I mainly use Nomad, but I find that the work flow is similar. The user face is a bit clunky in comparison. Menus are almost hidden, due to how many options there are within options, but if you watch a tutorial or play around opening every menu and clicking on the extras, you’ll get the hang of it in no time.
The app overall worked very well, but there is a massive memory clogging issue. I’ve used it for a couple of hours now and all in all it’s worked great, except for one massive issue, as time goes on and your project gets more complex, the app suddenly doesn’t want to work and will, say, crash when trying to merg layers. It’s extremely frustrating and forces you to save every couple of minutes to ensure your project doesn’t disappear after a crash. The tools are great though, and outside of a few bugs, and the mentioned issue, it’s a lot of fun and easy to understand.
