8 of 25Virtually impossible to turn the page without ten minutes of fooling with the bar at the bottom. Did the designers ever attempt to use the app? Apparently not. Total crap.
I had to delete this app when the ads popped up several times when I finished each page trying to read 1984. Ironic?
The reader is unbearably bad ... it takes an act of will, and contempt for your users, to make it that hard to simply turn a page.
Please update to iOS 11 so that it’s usable.
-Turn pages by tapping the lower right side of the page and to go backward, tap the lower left hand side of the page. This app has a very basic and bare boned interface, but hey...it's free and truly has many great titles to enrich your mind and soul!<br/>I love to read and even though I've read many books that are considered 'classics', I still have many more books to read. I found a title on my wish list within the first 8 books.
Adds interrupt reading every few minutes with full page coverage which takes a while to remove. Will not use or recommend this app. Ever
I loved this app. It was easy and clean with great classics. Now, with the update, it will not load.
The old version, 2.0, was wonderful. I have no idea what the new version is like, because it won't open on my older device...which WILL NOT "upgrade" to ios7. PLEASE either issue a 'fix' to make it compatible, or post a link to revert to version 2.0. In the future, please either make 'updates' compatible with older versions, or make them where they will not install on older devices! This is possible, as other apps have done so.
