8 of 25(I would gladly smash my fist into the face of E… C…) I had a review drafted and this worthless Apple app prevents me from pasting what I just copied. The title will explain why I’m dumping Fing. Their team will get the details but not fellow App Store users, hence my parenthetical remark about the narcissistic clown behind much of the Apple software and services shambles.
I like Fing. The app performed immediately after I downloaded it. I actually had a pirate hitting my WiFi, so between Fing and a little self education I think that problem is solved. Today I opened the news email they send. It is interesting and well written. I won’t discard this one. When the coffee is finished brewing I am going to read most or all of it. This was just one of the best surprises in my day today. Me, the “I hate tech” attitude old person, is brewing coffee to read a tech newsletter. Fing should get an award for this. Thanks, Fing!
I’ve found a hidden camera in my home so I downloaded this in attempt of finding them and when using the scan it just calls everything except phones as “generic” says that’s there’s no cameras of any kind including my two ring doorbells and the hidden camera
Every time your app, there’s an update walk-through, or some trial experience pop up. I just want to scan a network. I don’t want any of that, nobody does.
When I do a speed check on a gig plan that I have it shows me a 5.9 and 4.1 mbps when two other apps show me in the 400’s or higher. Not sure why only this app says this? I’ve used this app in the past but never seen this happen. Update: Why can’t it pick up my WiFi security cameras? I have two of them and to be honest it has never picked up any camera unless I say it’s a camera in the description. I want a refund!!!!
i'm looking at my router and online with my internet server, clearly they are both online, but this app., since the latest'update' tells me i have' lost connection' and that i'm not online. garbage. uninstall.
This app is useless. Doesn’t even work
Really cool program!
