Teleport For Dropbox

iOS 3 can’t install from Safari. You can still download the IPA file, but you’re on your own after that.

Does not work for me.

Just purchased. Linked to DROPBOX and tried to upload one photo. Got error message and no upload. I'll try again. If unsuccessful, I'll remove the app and try something else.

Downsizes photos on upload :/

This app is very useful and does everything it says, one problem though - it downsizes photos to about 1/4 their size on upload. I want to use this app to backup my photo album, but I want them to be saved at full res! Perhaps there should be a settings toggle for this... Other than this it's a 5 Star app.

Easy to use.

Uploads Photos BUT Can't View

Pictures uploaded easy and quickly. Unfortunately I couldn't open them. Pretty useless.

It is quick and helpful to move document files to Dropbox for future uses.

Can't live without it

Crash. Swipe. Crash. Swipe.

by grinder2112 · January 9, 2012

This app really only has one direct function it needs to perform: "Open" files by saving them to a Dropbox folder. This app has earned the lowest rating because it would crash 50% of the time it attempted to save an email attachment to Dropbox. Once that problem is fixed, there are some other useability issues worth addressing: 1) Having to swipe the file to make the transfer is sort of interesting at first, but needlessly tedious. 2) The app apparently automatically renames files to avoid an potential overwrite. Sometimes it's reasonable to overwrite files with a new version instead of having the filename mangled.

Disappointed

Paid the .99 cents. Started uploading immediately. App kept crashing and what pics did upload there were smaller as mentioned in earlier review and the uploaded sideways. I was bummed then dropbox had an update that includes multi pic uploads and it works great. Prolly going to erase this app.
