About Bleach Bypass:
Fotosyn Bleach Bypass applies the Bleach Bypass effect to your images. A popular visual style in movies and TV, Bleach Bypass is used to enhance atmospheric effect through desaturated colour, heavy vignetting and contrast.
The term 'Bleach Bypass' principally refers to the development process of colour film, with the skipping of the bleaching process that removes the silver in the film emulsion. This results in a contrasty, desaturated image.
Fotosyn Bleach Bypass features 13 adjustable effects including Cinematic, Extreme, Monohint, Blush, Breeze, Verve, Nostalgia and new in 2.0, Vintage and Muted.
Cinematic, Extreme and Monohint reduce saturation and increase contrast at varying levels, while Blush, Breeze, Verve, Nostalgia and Rustic add shifts in colour. Vintage and Muted deepens tones and colours for an overall moody effect.
All effects can be used with or without vignette and there are a choice of borders including Light, Dark and Retro.
Fotosyn Bleach Bypass uses geolocation data for your images through the camera, and retains this data after processing. Any EXIF data within the image is also retained.

8 of 23Unimpressed by any of the effects. All they seem to do is mess with the exposure.
It's a real drag when you support a app dev & they abandon it.
...and by having presets with sliders, it is now less of a one-trick pony. Workflow is still rough as effects are not located on the same page with the preview. Nice concept like Open In but developers should also push Apple to upgrade Open In...for instance, making it limitless.
IPhone X and iOS 11.3.1 Crashes when I try to load a photo from my phone. Haven’t been able to try this app because of crashing
There are very few effects, not done well, and why would a photo effects app need my location? Deleted.
Used it a while ago. Re downloaded. Boots up, asks for location and simultaneously crashes.
Thus app does full res and the filters are really well done. Not many sure, but it's very good at what it does.
I like the variety of effects. Also, this app saves at full res, which is a huge plus. For the next version, I would suggest a couple of UI changes. First, it would be great to be able to preview a particular effect. Every time I make a tweak, everything reprocesses from scratch. It would be better to do the high-res processing when the user saves the image to the camera roll, not when the effect is selected. Also, the borders are under the "settings" tab, which is an odd place for them. Anyhow, this app shows great promise, and I look forward to future updates.
