technoBox2 is your virtual techno studio on the go featuring stunningly accurate emulations of three classic boxes: The legendary 303 bass machine together with the smooth 808 and punchy 909 drum machines. technoBox2 has easy to use sequencing capabilities which lets you tie together patterns, or use it live by improvising pattern switches on the fly!

technoBox2 is the next version of technoBox implementing many asked for features, amongst others:

- Dual 303s and drum machines (2x303, 2x808/909) - The 303 emulation is our latest engine which sports improved authenticity - Dual XY Pads with assignable axis to any parameters - Improved song sequencing with Start/End and Loop markers - Lock parameters song bars - Export recorded songs (as .wav) via iTunes (documents) - Upload recorded song to SoundCloud directly and share - Load your own .wav and .aif samples (uncompressed 44.1kHz 16-bit) into the drum machines (via iTunes documents) - Performance screen with the most accessed controls on one screen - Completely redesigned FX Panel: You can now activate effects on any or all of the 4 machines - Improved tempo synced phaser and distortion effects. Added a damp parameter to the delay. - Filter cutoff added to the drum machines - Per part decay added to the drum machines - iPad native resolution support - Retina display support - Requires at least iPhone 4 (but runs best on iPad 2/iPhone 4s) or iPod touch with Retina display

Version 2.1.0 changes - Additional 606-kit added - Now supports both landscape and portrait modes on iPad

Please note: technoBox2 currently does not work on the iPod touch 2nd generation or earlier. It requires at least an iPhone 3G S or later to work.

To install apps directly onto this device, it must be jailbroken with AppSync installed.

Waste of $$$$$

Horrible app is a waste of money and only makes like 1 beat. Get better!!!

Cool- probably the best x0x emulator, but!

But now lagging behind other acid boxes: no ACP, no AudioBus Please support Audiobus, I really love the sounds and automation functionality of this app!

Update?

If you wanted to use rebirth but found the price to be a little off putting then I would give this app a try. The interface is very well put together the sounds are accurate and I found the price to be great for what you get. The only thing that would be needed to propel this app into the masses and get a higher rating(5stars)would be if the developer could add audio copy. That way I could take riffs made here and send them into another app to make a full song. Right now you can make full songs in this app and the song arranger is very easy to use. The downside is that the last great album to use "rebirth" was probably daft punks' homework in 99. JK,but I would like to use this with all the other great synth apps so please consider audio copy to pasteboard or other standard. Don't be fooled by the name here folks. This is not one of those cheap "box" throw away apps that are made in ten minutes and then abandoned. This is a real deal rebirth machine. It will do the trick. (I do not work for the developer,as many who think that any good review must be tied to the product,I am not. I am a user)

A serious contender again

Drum samples are a bit weak, but the 303 synth sounds great. Now that it has audiocopy and inter-app audio, it's a lot more useful. Thank you, devs. A couple issues remain: no MIDI clock sync makes it hard to play in time with other apps or hardware; and it's (authentically) awkward to program notes in the step sequencer.

Kool....

Kool n fun.... Only thing to take it to another level is panning.....right now everything is in the middle of the stereo spectrum....would be cool to place one synth on the left and another on the right ....panning the hi hats to the right,etc......

Not what I thought

Well I seems to me that it should let you choose drum and sinth loops but it don't, maybe I am expecting to much but I want something that let's me create from sample loops! I am not happy but oh well!

Techno-licious!

This app sounds great, plain and simple, if you want a 303, it doesn't get any better than this. This app is from the same company that makes the "ABL2" renowned 303 emulator. So you don't need to worry about the sound, it is like you used a shrink ray on a 303 and uploaded it to your iOS device :) @4.99, get it! It is a killer app!
