Lag not suitable for video

by luc.in.nyc · June 2, 2013

The 5 second plus lag of the audio streaming makes it useless to watch any video

Great sound quality with a 5 sec delay

Great sound quality and potential. I found while research an app to bring music from living room to backyard. Works well and paired with VNC client I was able to change song from living room media pc. I'm planning to test and see if the delay is uniform, then I could pair multiple devices and share same music with multiple locations. Besides delay, my only other complaint is the lack if an off switch to stop music. If this app had a much smaller delay, ability to pair other PCs, off switch, and some control over iTunes or other music sources in PC i would definitely give 5 stars. If developers are reading, I'd like to see reverse of this app. Play music on PC that is on phone.

Works

What I was looking for. Much cheaper than wireless headphones for my pc. Like others, there is a very noticeable lag which is unacceptable for video playback.

AWESOME!!!

So Close, just a little more

So I do really Love the app it allows me to go from my computer audio to phone simless while at work. But why does the audio cut out if the computer is not making noise this cause lag?? Just make a streaming full time option and you gusy will have a 5 star must have app!

Works decent, but too much lag for video

by t5un4m1 · July 23, 2013

I'm guessing the lag is to deal with wifi latency and buffering issues, but I'd like to see the option of adjusting the buffer time, and the ability to turn off buffering. I use an xbmc media center and I'd like to be able to watch shows or movies without making noise in the house. Stringing a 15 foot audio extension cable for headphones is cumbersome.

Fantastic
