Great app, a must if on the job
updated from 2010...this was great for studying/reviewing for sgt's exam. Guess i'll update to 2013 soon. Quick reference in palm of ur hand...only compaint is that u can't c time/battery life when using app...otherwise, Love it. (need more frequent updates)...annoying paying for updated version EVERY year!!!
Except for a few random crashes, this app is perfect. Much easier to carry the patrol guide around in this format.

Wish they would charge one price with free updates. Now I have to delete the 2011 pg and buy this?!? Yeh ok.
I am a strict disciplinarian, have always been, and still refer to 'The NYPD Patrol Guide', daily, to write policy and procedure, rules and regulations, orders, etc., in the security business where I am the General Manager. This is the world that I come from, so why not mirror the security company after one of the most strict police departments in the world. It works for me and is an excellent reference guide. All of the new add on materials, i.e., interim orders, administrative information, makes this guide even more valuable to me and other retired NYPD bosses. Great stuff.
