8 of 26Terrible app
Instead of chatting with a real person you have to type your issues to their AI chat box and it SUCKS. It will disconnect and not even understand what you need or would be asking a real live agent
This app used to be so intuitive and easy to use. They have hidden all of the useful information, and switched it into a sales tool only. I just want to know how much is owed on each device, how much my bill is, and control the devices. You have to use Google AI to figure out anything on the app now. Verizon used to have the best customer service. It’s sad to see them going the way of Comcast.
I had a difficult new-customer experience. Your experience may vary, but here’s mine.

The self-installation did not work, and remote support was unable to resolve the issue. A technician visit became necessary. Unfortunately, on two consecutive scheduled appointments, the technician never arrived. In both cases, I received no advance notice that the technician would not be coming, no status updates, and no proactive attempt to reschedule. I was simply left waiting.

The third appointment was different. The technician arrived as scheduled, was knowledgeable and professional, and resolved the issue quickly.

Throughout the process, every Verizon employee I interacted with—by chat, over the phone, or in person—was courteous, professional, and genuinely tried to resolve the problem. I have no criticism of the individuals.

My criticism is of the process. The lack of communication around the missed appointments created unnecessary uncertainty and frustration.

Based on conversations during the process, I got the impression that technician availability and scheduling may have been under significant strain. Whether that was due to staffing, workload, or other operational factors, I can’t say. What I can say is that better communication when appointments cannot be kept would have made a substantial difference to my experience.

In the end, Verizon delivered an excellent fiber connection. I simply hope the company invests in improving the scheduling and communication aspects of the installation process, because the employees I interacted with deserve a better system to support them.
Accessibility needs to be a little bit better when placing orders and also accepting terms and conditions for people like me being a visually impaired user. I want make a suggestion that the app does get better for Accessibility excepting all all terms and conditions and all the agreement you’re supposed to accept it needs to be a lot more better for screen reader users I know not everybody’s the screen reader but there is people that use screen readers and can’t get the benefits of the service from Verizon. And I’m also gonna put in this review these digital links that you gotta click on when you are calling in to talk to a live representative that’s gotta go. It’s definitely gotta go because it does not work whatsoever for accessible users. Every time you place an order by phone you have to click on links just accept all terms and conditions and whatever have you. I am a user that cannot do that and I’ve said it 1000 times to all agents. All the whole company knows that but yet I still gotta click links because they won’t change nothing this is getting to be ridiculous. They won’t even let me get my order complete without doing that so I went a little bit higher up to take action for right now. This Stor rating will be a rating of one because Verizon says they value your loyalty. Well apparently they don’t value your loyalty. so please fix I’ve been trying since July 4 to place me an order for Internet service and I cannot get my Internet service here. It is July 9. I’m writing this review today all because my screen reader won’t let me click the link that they want I tried two different web browsers figuring it might be my Safari, but it’s not so I tried chrome it does the same thing. It’s all on their end so apparently people like us guys out there we don’t get to enjoy Verizon‘s services because we can’t get the digital links to work. Thumbs down thumbs down thumbs down thumbs down Hopefully the team goes over this review and they make big changes
For being a Verizon customer for so many years, they always work with me with payment assistance. I really appreciate this as a single mom, at times finances get tuff and let’s be real we can’t always pay our bills on time but we pay them. With Verizon payment assistance that gives me a few extra days or extension just enough time to pay my balance in full.
I am ever grateful for this Verizon.
App pages take 5-10 seconds to change somehow. Basic functions like the international page never load. So now I have to call and deal with a fing chat bot to add do something basic like add a data plan. Will avoid Verizon in future. lol just tried the chat bot. I said “add international plan”. It said ok click here so I clicked and it took me to an entirely unrelated page. This is what we get when we have three providers of an essential service.
Verizon and their app is the absolute worst. I would highly recommend using a different service .
