Waaaaaay overpriced!

by brokeRes · February 2, 2011

This app should be free. For .99 you get anterior and posterior shoulders only and to upgrade is an additional $23.99! There are other apps that are just as good, if not better and less money.

Waste

Waste of time and money. Partial app useless.

A very informative app w/ astonishing graphics

This all does all it says it does and more. The flashcards are truly helpful and the graphics are top notch. Great job and I cannot wait to see what other apps you publish

Awesome for muscles

by AppleBoat76 · January 29, 2011

As a licensed massage therapist I've been waiting for an app like this. The ability to see each muscle by itself as well as together is invaluable. I used this just yesterday to educate one of my clients about their rotator cuff injury.

not impressed

I'm a professor of anatomy and got this to hopefully help show my students how pec major extends the arm. The visualization in the diagram is not physically possible. In reality, the arm must first be flexed before it can perform extension via this muscle, thus shortening the muscle back to its resting state. The animation shows this muscle extending the humorus beyond its resting state which can't happen due to the fact that muscles only contract. Additionally, the person doing the motion isn't helpful in visualizing the actual muscle fibers as they shorten. Glad I didn't buy the full version of this. Would love a refund on the purchase, being as I downloaded it less than 5 minutes ago and I'm deleting it from my machine.

Avoid

As good as this might look from the preview photos this app is mediocre at best. Stick with tried and true apps like Netter for anatomy. The graphics were poor and unhelpful.

Disappointing

by Myonic · February 18, 2011

I should have read the reviews. I'm so disappointed I paid .99 cents for the shoulder. Ugh! It should have been free like all the other "lite" apps. I want my money back.

Actually really good

by CREBcyclin · January 29, 2011

Not sure what the "doctor" had a problem with. This app is 99 cents and it is a good review of the shoulder muscles with some study questions.
