Enter a world overrun by hordes of monsters. Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness.

Pocket RPG is a dual-stick action dungeon-crawler. In it you can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style.

The Blade Master: A duel wielding melee specialist. He survives by clearing swathes of enemies with each of his mighty strikes. He has devastating special moves which skillful players will be able to use to decimate their foes.

The Dark Ranger. A deadly archer who can summon waves of arrows that bounce, seek and split. Perforate your enemies with dense walls of arrowy death.

The Battle Mage A powerful, but fragile, nuker who controls the forces of fire, ethereal, ice and lightning to obliterate groups of enemies. Charge up her spells to critical levels and unleash maximum destruction.

Each quest in Pocket RPG is a new adventure. The hero starts at level zero with an empty sachel and collects items and rapidly builds their strength to dizzying proportions. Pocket RPG is not a "my numbers beat your numbers" game. Items matter and the way you use them is even more important.

Pocket RPG provides hours of fantasy hack 'n slash mayhem. And there are Game Center achievements and leaderboards if you do manage to make it to the end.

Expect updates with new content as well as gameplay improvements and fixes. We are working hard to give you the best experience we can.

Would be good but…

by OOTicus · October 4, 2021

I was loving this game, absolutely synced with my style gaming, but while fighting a boss in the second mission my game crashed. Thinking it was a fluke I reopened the app and replayed the same level it had previously crashed on just to have the same crash occur during the same fight. I tried this about 5 times before confirming it was a persistent bug that would not be passable. I cooled off for a few days and then decided to try the game again but with a mage/caster instead of the archer which I initially started with. I was able to pass the second mission but then had the same crashing happen while fighting the boss of the 3rd mission in the campaign. This is terribly frustrating because it is a game I would love to play…if it was actually playable. Using the latest iPad Air(2021) so it’s not a legacy hardware issue. Please fix! Bugs bugs bugs…

PLEASE FIX SNAKE BOSS CRASH

by NinjaZyborg · April 16, 2025

It’s been broken for multiple years now and you still haven’t fixed it. This issue needs to be fixed immediately.

Love the game, seems like some bugs now

by Ofbac · April 13, 2025

I picked this up way back in the day when it first released. Every few years I run though it again I’m trying again now in 2025, playing on an iPad Pro and I get pretty frequent crashes during the final boss fights. I’ve done chapter 3s boss fight 3 times now and can’t finish it without the game crashing :(

Crashes every time

Crashes the second I kill the zombie boss. Was really disappointed. Loved the game.

Crash

by Use sp0tify · March 29, 2024

Litterally never written a review on an app, when this was originally added to the app store it worked perfectly. Idk what happened between now and then but quest 3 mission 1 just is not capable of being completed, tested barbarian and archer and both constantly crash onve the first lich dies, same with the tentacles on the same level…. Fix the game please it was so good and it brings so much nostalgia.

MAKES YOU BUY THE GAME AGAIN AT A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION!!!

by Skilletfan777 · January 2, 2020

I bought this game back in 2011 and loved it. I played it all the way through to the end of the campaign. Now in 2020 I found the new version only to find out that you have to purchase some $4.99 a month membership to play it again?! This is ridiculous. The kicker is that there is a button to supposedly “recover” your old account but it doesn’t even work! First I find out the game I paid money for is no longer playable through iOS updates, and now the updated version is $60 a year!! Outrageous.

This game is bs why make it free in the App Store just to make you pay a subscription when you first get on don’t make it free in store if you’re gonna have to pay for it the moment you launch it. Pathetic waist of time

i will not

by Godswolf17 · April 29, 2020

in no way will i subscribe to their company so i can play the game. which is a shame the one level i did play was a fun game but requiring a subscription to play further is not acceptable. should have just labeled it a demo
