RPG Scribe is a smart character sheet with built-in reference based on SRD* (open game license version of D&D 3.5). Here are some reasons why thousands of players and dungeon masters love the app, and why you will love it too:

• SMART: RPG Scribe knows a lot about D&D and does the math for you. Change one thing and all derivative statistics are recalculated on the fly!

• STEP-BY-STEP: Character creation and level-up are performed step-by-step. It takes only seconds (instead of hours with pen & paper) and you just can't go wrong with it!

• MANAGE EVERY ASPECT: Every aspect of your character is covered: all basic statistics, resistances, skills, feats, spells, inventory, equipment, ammo tracking, class-specific features (like domains, school specialization, etc.) and more.

• ELEGANT & EFFICIENT: With intuitive layout, attention to detail and extensive use of graphic icons RPG Scribe is designed to be easy and efficient to use while still being very powerful.

• BUILT-IN REFERENCE: RPG Scribe contains built-in SRD reference that can be browsed and searched. Relevant information is always available when you need it!

• CUSTOMIZE: You can extend built-in content with your own races, classes, feats, spells, weapon types, etc.

• GREAT FOR DMs TOO: As a DM you can easily generate random non-player character or make use of quickly accessible reference.

• ALL IN YOUR POCKET: You will never want to go back to a paper character sheet again (nor any other digital)!

More flexibility.

Been using this app for a few years now and it's been steadily getting better, yet I would still like to see options during level up for the alternate class options from the different handbooks and definitely changes to allow epic level characters. I know its a lot but adding those features would take this app from a 4 to a 5.

Not enough classes, races and sub races

For a paid app, it should have all classes and races. It's missing warlock, which is my current character and why I bought this app. It's also missing all sub races, which makes you have to put pretty much everything in as custom

Amazing app, only a little suggestion that would make it even better

Hi,ya I'm Rowan, I use this app regularly with my friends and I must admit that you really have done a lot to make it like an actually sheep of paper, while still saving us all the cramped hand :) One tinny suggestion would be that you add a little more to the random character customization. I use the feature the most out of all the others and I really wish you guys would add some details specifically in the items area. If you had a feature that allowed you to pick whether you wanted to have it generate items based on the level (clothes, a main fighting weapon, armor, even maybe some quirky items, ect.) I think it would a really amusing and interesting element to the random character generator and make each individual character seem more unique and quirky. Anyway this app is awesome and I haven't been able to find a mobile character sheet app that matches. 10/10 and thanks again!

Really great app!!!!

This app works perfectly! A group of friends and I all decided to start playing DnD for our first times in our mid thirties. None of us had played before. Without this app I doubt we would still be playing today. We have now been playing with the same group for over 2 years now. It helped all of us learn the game without frustration. As far as I can tell every time I have looked up something in the DM guide or online this app has been 100% correct in it's ability to calculate points. The only thing I would like to see is that I wish the app would sync to multiple devices automatically . When I am playing I use my iPad, but I'd like to be able to mess with my characters on my phone when I am not home and have it update the iPad too. Also a droid version would be cool. 1 guy in my group doesn't have an iPhone and has to borrow mine to play. Thanks for a great app!

If you like D&D and you want the ability to add house rules, extra feats, skills, classes, etc. this is the app for you. The only two things I wish it did was 1) allow you to copy a character class, item, feat, etc. and then rename and modify it and 2) share custom mods with others who have the app.

Weak AF

Only 7 races. No Genasi, Dragonborn, Tiefling, Aarakocra, or Goliath. The program came up in a search for "5e" and there is very little use for it in the game. Avoid at all costs.

Best D&D App... for 3.5e!!

by Jade dragoon · June 6, 2017

I decided to write a review after reading some noobs' reviews trashing it without reading. The description directly states this app is only for 3.5e, and it has a sister app for pathfinder. This is not, and has never been, for 5e. If that's your only reason for giving 1 star, then go look at yourself long in the mirror. Now that that's out of the way, the app is phenomenal. It's powerful enough to take care of all the heavy lifting, adaptable enough to let you create custom classes/races if needed, and boasts an incredibly intuitive interface. My whole D&D crew used this app for a long time, and even complete beginners picked up the game with ease thanks to this app. It's awesome that they came out with the pathfinder version (sadly after we moved onto 5e), and if they were at all able to make a 5e version, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It just makes the game THAT much more simple and enjoyable. Sadly, I don't expect a 5e to come out anytime soon. I imagine it can't be cheap to get permission from WotC to make an app for their game, hence why there are only apps for the open license versions of D&D.

Needs some polishing

Over all I'm very pleased with this app. Absolutely perfect if you are looking for an easier less cluttered way to run your character than just pen and paper. The Home Brew features of this app could use a little more love and debugging. Would also be nice if there was an update or booster pack which installed more of the classes from the supplement books like Drunken Master, Warshaper, and or Scout. But that's just me nitpicking. Me, my brother and several of my friends all have this app and run the normal stuff with no issues and it's just awesome. Keep up the great work.
